  • Description Bone Loc returns to Tuff Love Dubs with the heavy, in your face, layered complexity unique to the man's dubstep - showing once again just how brilliant Bone Loc's can be.

Kicking off the EP is "PreMeditated", which is full of murderous basslines and reggae vibes reworked and twisted into something monstrous. It's the heaviest tune on the EP, a storming hardstep monster!

Safety Dub returns too massive to live in just one release. The Speaker Tweakerz step up and remix it into a twisting "neuro dnb" mutant of a track. Think Nosia meets Dubstep and you've got the signal. Horror movie hints and a morphing bassline holding the subs for ransom while the "dubplate" vox snips return from Bone's original to seal the deal. It's a masterpiece of a remix and shows just how great a really thought out rework can be done. If you aren't already familiar with them, The Speaker Tweakerz are the heavy hitting combination of Omar Santana & Evan Gamble Lewis, and they bring literal decades of production to the plate with every single song they release, and this is no exception!

Mundy hops on board to help with the next track, Real Talk. The Man's been behind the scenes doing production and mixing work for many different genres, and it shows here where you can hear influences from many styles, all tying into Bone Loc's signature sound for a classic co-pro that reminds us of the mid 90's vinyl vibe that's been criminally forgotten these days.

Finally, "Charlie Brown" closes out the EP with some cleverly designed atmospheres and complex, echoing percussion It all comes together to become something uncommon and brilliant, Bone Loc's signature in the world of Dubstep!
