  • Labels Rebirth
  • Catalog REB065
  • Description Los Angeles via SFV raised artist, Daze Deten, offers his third release on Rebirth Records. Four pieces that are hard to pigeonhole, yet functional for the eclectic Deejays and dancefloors. His 'Technology A EP' brings energy infused cuts, filtered through his aesthetic of warm, deep, funky, and raw textures. A vivid color palette, pushed forward by the funk meets garage rock basslines you will find in his work. All Right' is marked for the bump and grind of dancefloors and bedrooms. Effected brass horns, revolving bass pulses, and a Deep Purple-esque grungy guitar that adds grit and character. 'Cosmiclips'...brings us mad scientist cosmic synths, deep emotive atmosphere, syncopated percussion, his trademark funky bassline, and yes a trance melody. A deep balearic future classic. Wildhorse is a surreal experience, gritty flamenco guitar vamps, bright pings, raw percussion, wooden bass pulses, and a fresh bassline. Heat. The EP title track, Technology A another fresh concoction, this time an ambient atmosphere, acid zaps, trance synthesis, and the raw boom bap of hip hop, working together at a house bpm. Versatile sounds of the past, present, and future, in an EP to work into your eclectic arsenal.
