  • Description SMD008 Digital Department - Tears Of A Soul EP (incl. Andy Weed, Fake Truth, Jose Tabarez mixes)
Arseniy Somotov aka Digital Department has been pushing the beats since 2009 as producer, working mostly on progressive house and breaks tunes. His sound can be found on the repertoire of such labels like Morphosis Limited, Mistique Music, Spring Tube, Clinique Records and OLD SQL just to name a few. 'Tears Of A Soul' is a warm, melodic progressive track, with catchy implementation, which find it's home on Suffused Music. The remixes comes from Andy Weed, Jose Tabarez and Fake Truth.
The original mix starts with a drum intro, after the baseline hits the ground we switch the travelling mode on. The liquid textures float through the whole track, creating a feel-good situation for all the listeners.
Andy Weed is on fire at the moment, it's not a surprise he did a great interpretation with the recognisable Weed-touch on the main elements.
Jose Tabarez injected some deep feel into his version, keeping the pace and characteristic of the original enriched the synth layers with new notes.
Fake Truth created a tripping, progressive break version, where the main chords fit perfectly to the dreamy atmosphere.
