DescriptionMango's musical and cultural interest in the Orient manifests itself once again in the contemplative "Raining in Osaka," a collaboration with talented newcomers Orion and J.Shore. In the Original mix, the upbeat rhythmic progression is countered by gentle, though, deeply poignant piano arp lines -- this is familiar emotional territory on a rainy day in spring, when one's mood can quickly turn introspective. German production duo Bale & Voltaire add a bit more weight to the percussion, as well as infuse the lead melody with more euphoric vibes. On the contrary, Mike Kiraly provides another tech-prog showcase on the Dub tip, with truly inspired sound design throughout. Finally, Shingo Nakamura provides the ideal closer -- a grooving, loungy progressive rendering, with a breath-taking piano solo in the break.
