Description2011 continues to be a notable year for Michael 'Sonarpilot' Moppert and his Sonarpilot Audio label. His last release featured Planet Mu's Oriol and Japanese underground house mover Kay Suzuki on remix duties and the EP picked up plenty of play in the clubs, on radio and online. Sonarpilot Audio now bring us the next instalment, EP3 giving a definable nod to underground techno and the 90s dance sound with another two high quality tracks and remixes.
The first remix on the EP comes from Trevino – the new alter ego of soulful drum and bass pioneer, Marcus Intalex. The track once more highlights Moppert's attention to detail and his creative stereo trickery – a quite unique sound that always seems to feel fresh with every listen.
Backing up Radar on the EP is 'Corrosion' remixed by Viva Shade, something of a Sonarpilot Audio discovery. Viva Shade is the alter ego of Andy Bunting, a seasoned player who's 'punk to funk and beyond' sums up his musical background pretty well. Andy has played keys and guitar with numerous touring bands over the years and it's this rich musical heritage, along with a pas
