Qilla Records is proud to present it's sixteenth release! This time with label head Madhav Shorey, better known as Kohra. Pyramids is somewhat of a secret-weapon that hypnotically winds your head around it's groove that borders around, what could be called progressive techno with a lot of fluidity yet a strong structure. The main hook is a floaty theremin sound that takes you into immersive spaces on the dance floor.
On remix duties are some of the latest talents on Qilla for 2013. We anticipate their solo EP releases, later on this year. Luis M delivers the first remix, a lovely progressive minimal-techno version with a deep and driving groove and subtle rippling melodies oozing out of it's grungy bassline. The second remix is by Vitor Munhoz. His style of dirty, sexy and dark nu-disco caught our attention earlier on and we were most amazed with his twisted remix. A U delivers the last remix with their signature style that wanders between minimal, progressive, psychedelic and techno all at once - a definite peak time monster!
