DescriptionThe SRUR series Muzika is now on its third volume with three fresh new tracks to get the juices flowing.
First up is Spanish producer Dany Cohiba with "Amsterdam Streets". Dany is a veteran on the scene having began his music career in the eighties. He currently has a vast amount of releases under his belt across multiple labels (way too many to mention). Here he applies his skills in style with a powerfully energetic groover. The kicks and hats on the intro provide a bouncy rhythm with the bass rolling effortlessly through the sound. Short vocal samples come through as the track progresses and on the break some nifty synth work creeps in, top class stuff.
Italian producer Giorgio Quaranta aka Gforty is up next with his energising track "Quito". From the get go you get thrown in a torrent of tribal percussion and a thumping kick which builds up a wonderfully rhythmic groove. Classic whistle effects are the perfect fit and beefs up the sound making those tribal rhythms stand out even more. Huge tune here and certain to be picked up by many jocks.
Onofrio Conte steps up with his track "Gets Dirty". Onofrio has had a couple of quality releases on Bonzai Basiks, "What Da Hell" and "Red Lights" with support coming from all angles. Here he applies his talents with ease delivering a gritty techno groove. The track gets right into it from the start, dishing out a strong kick and deep bass combo with the percussions etching out a hypnotic, tribal rhythm. Great FX work add textures and make this a true techno stomper that will perform well in any set.
