  • Description New artists keep coming to our label and this time is the turn for Path, from Italy. He delivered a four track ep full fantastic and powerful tech house and techno grooves. Awakening is just that, a big hit in the face with a strong techno bass line and a smooth melody in the back combined with some retro synths. All this plus a soft tech base gives this track a great power in the dance floor. The Mentalist is nothing else than a master piece. Some delicately placed synth stabs creates this emotive, and yet, underground melody that makes perfect companion with a super effective base and simple, but strong, string bass line. Occasional vocal lines appear too filling the right spaces and closing the soul of this great track perfectly executed in every way. We Get Closer present a bigger tech house approach than the last two. Also the presence of a minimalistic ostinato at the back going up and down with a soft subtle filter effect culminates this track in great break, where some tape delay fxs makes their work to finish in a very clubby back. Cant Stop Now haves a more housy approach with his soft melody created from the percussions line and occasional vocals too. A groovy bass line closes the idea perfectly in this track also. As always we have remixes and the first one is from Stefano Kosa, who enters thought the big door with his amazing techno remix of Awakening. A mainstream techno track with some of the best old school base arrangements and breaks you can hear. As you can expect, a deep and powerful bass line too. This last one creates a magic ambience that makes your arms go up without thinking about it making this remix nothing else than a great bomb. Luca Doobie was the one in charge of remixing The Mentalist giving a more tech house side to this track, adapting it to the dance floor, but only with the quality that Luca has us used to. He took an amazing track, added a simple bass line and some a sweet game with the synths creating another dance floor blower track.
