DescriptionFrom boombap to boogie and beyond, the highly anticipated debut album from Germany's wunderkind Swede:art has it all! Influences from techno avantgarde and 90's hiphop melt into unorthodox funk, subbass staccatos, saw tooth wave attacks and bleep action in slow motion.
Guest artists include Duktus, Note, Persuit Grooves, Stray, Blaktroniks, Caits Meissner and Comfort Fit.
20 year old boombap wunderkind Joachim Prügl from Bavaria has one foot deeply sunk in 90's r'n'b and hip hop grooves and the other dropping down a pixellated pathway to the future. As a DJ he roams wide pastures between dubstep, wonky hiphop and broken beat, while as a producer he farms out beats of the 90 bpm variety and upwards.
His creations have gained him a reputation in different scenes near and wide, his tracks being spun by techno, dubstep and hip hop djs alike.
Quotes from the scene:

Simbad (Brownswood): "Sick album, totally fresh! BIG 4 real!!!"
Dr Motte (Loveparade): "Very inspirational album!"
Charles Webster (MISO): "Sounds like a really good collection of forward thinking grooves"
Zero DB (FlOz): "THIS is the shit I should be making, I LOVE IT!"
Tom Wieland (Compost): "Fresh as the morning sun!"
DJ MQ (Mixery Raw Deluxe): "A remarkable example for contemporary soulful music far beyong retro-me-too-stylings."
Jenna G (BBC 1Xtra): "Can't wait to play this at my summer bookings, this will match those lazy beach locations very well!"
