DescriptionVindico Records heads honcho introduces his new 'DMZ Korea' release. As Vindico now operates out of South Korea, this track got its inspiration from the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The track captures the numb, dark & hostile atmosphere of this area and the use of war and artillery samples throughout give this track a unique feeling which has grasped the attention of the Korean media. The media have in-fact been so interested in this release, that label head Sean Rooney has been interviewed by the national newspaper 'The Korea Herald' and also Korea's biggest clubbing magazine 'Studio 24'.
The release becomes complete by the 3 added remixes. One of Korea's top techno artists '69' gives us a great remix that digs deep at the underground and one that will hit hard at many sound systems. Using lots of vintage analogue gear in his approach, we can feel that this remix is personal. Kereni's remix is jaw dropping - one that is mystical, deep and very rewarding. Ideal Flow follows up from his previous release on Vindico with a fantastic tough variation of the original and stays true to his underground sound.
