Deep City Groove - Stop, Look, Listen EP

  • Artists H2, T-Bone, Deep City Groove
  • Release Date 2012-12-28
  • Labels Extended Play
  • Catalog EP027
  • Description For our final release of 2012 it seems fitting to showcase even more Belfast talent in what has been a truly fantastic year for Northern Irish house music.

DCG have come up trumps with two killer house cuts that pack plenty of dance floor punch while also retaining the essential funk.

Title track Stop, Look, Listen is a proper forward thinking house bomb that powers along courtesy of it's amazing synth work.
The urban style vocal adds some lush soul to proceedings and results in something that sounds ridiculously fresh.

Manchester's excellent H2 take a break from writing stellar singles for the likes of Get Physical, Cecille and more and provide us with a wicked deep and trippy reworking that is sure to work some black magic on those late night floors.

Disort is yet another weapon that has literally been destroying clubs for us over the last few months, the killer jazz flecked breaks hit just right and give the track an amazing overall dynamic.

One half of the EP leadership T-Bone injects some jack to the drum dept on Disort and by adding edgy vocals and synths brings some darker vibes to the table.
