  • Description After a youth spent watching slashers, it eventuates. All these horror scores blowing their minds like a permanent obsession for minor & gloomy atmospheres and they couldn't help breathing darkness into their music anymore.

Joel & Yannick wanted this Death on the 13th as dark as slowly danceable. Using simple lullabies strings & chords to embark people into a sweet and pleasant fear, like a distant tribute to all these bastards killing young people during one and an half hour. Joel is fan Of Pinhead, The Clive Braker's Preacher of Hell, meanwhile Yannick's Idol is the Visageless Bogeyman Michael Mayers; but they agreed to dedicate this single to another bad guy, Jason Vorhees, The Machete killer of nude teenagers in the Friday, the 13th series.

They either got the chance to get a remix from Tiari (Multi Vitamins, Fourth Kind, Plastik.FM), an artist they are totally addict of, who went to a mathematical & hypnotic direction, take out the strings & focus on a neverending pounding groove.

They Invited either the Germany's Baden Wurtemberg All Stars

Tom Cerrox, owner of Cerrox records, revisit surgicaly the song to extract the core into a dark techno edit & DJ Basscraft (Black Forest Records) Added a touch of lightness by contrast, he probably spent too much time in the shadow of the Black forest's trees.

James Delato, a young talented Brazilian producer decided to destroy any kind of deepness and make people dancin' until death. A powerful & devastating remix!

Finally, They asked Adn-Live, a french producer and their Mentor, to offer them a remix. They are honored to get the special vision of Adn-Live within this release.

The artwork has been performed by Angelique Kerval, a friend of them, an innovative artist with a very personal style, merging monsters & grace with a unique aestheticism. (http://kerval-a.daportfolio.com)
