  • Description Earlier this year Satoshi Tomiie, Dani Casarano and Felipe Valenzuela embarked on what is proving to be the most fruitful of exchange programs. Back in June the SAW Recordings boss released his "Prism Vision" ep on Melisma, the label of the Swiss & Chilean duo, a single that came from a wealth of new material produced in Satoshi's brand new studio in New York City. Having turned in a stunning remix of the Melisma single, Dani & Felipe now present their own new originals with their much anticipated debut on SAW. With "D3" the pair look to hypnotise us from the very first beat. Their subtle, grooving bassline leads as they tease us with their wah-wah and whilst the guitar licks maintain the funk the ghostly keys add an air of mystery to the track. As the bell rings, Satoshi leads us into his remix. Not straying too far from the original the label chief adds a little muscle to the beats before dropping us into the trippiest of breakdowns and letting the acid loose. For those who prefer something a little skinnier and yet equally as phat, Satoshi also delivers his own 'Stripped Dub.' Bringing us back down to earth and closing out the ep is Dani & Felipe's deep and moody offering, "Saliendo."
