  • Description Bulletdodge Records delivers its promise of releasing diverse music with Compilation Volume 3. Another various artists E.P. with releases from Denney, Tom Taylor and Jay Pace with superb remixes from Yousef, Kevin Griffiths and Simon Stokes. The opening track on the E.P. is Denneys's Dancing on Rainbows , a flavoursome piece of electronica with an old skool, melancholic vocal that echoes main room madness. Combined with a dark bass line that penetrates through the veins to the bleepy minimal percussion, the track is a sure fire classic. Yousef's Circus remix is an excellent tech house piece of craftsmanship, that conveys a deeper edge rendition of the original. With its subb bass, swirling effects and well placed vocal stabs it is sure to gain the attention of the masses on the dancefloor. New to the label is Tom Taylor, who provides the E.P. with a soulful tech house masterpiece entitled The Search. The Search portreys balearic percussion at its finest, with carefully placed dubby stabs and a nice grooving bass line to make this a dancefloor mover. Tsuba head honcho, Kevin Griffiths administers his take on the original with a sense of elegance. His remake has a houseier twist with sparkling pad sounds and a solid percussive arrangement to convey a stellar production. Jay Pace's Hackney Brass is a track centred around a spell binding synth pattern, trippy atmospheric noises and an infectious acidic landscape of effects. The track is inherently Jay Pace yet the producer has provided a piece of deranged electronica that is classic Bulletdodge. Simon stoke's remix of Hackney Brass is a fine example of modern minimalism, building a steady groove with a driving bass line and increasing the intensity with clever stripped back percussion and interesting fx....
