DescriptionChris Venola, who discovered the piano for himself and later on his passion for challenging electronic music, has now teamed up with Maurizio Vitiello to produce the joint track ?Coconut Head?. Maurizio's unique sound, which he already had proven several times in Europe and in the USA and the style of Chris bring forth a track, where the two artists can grow into a truly dynamic duo.
This track is a prelude to the album ?Sixteen Miles?, which is going to be released on Circle Music in March and on which Chris will present a wide range of cross-genre of electronic music from all definitions of House. ?Coconut Head? itself will not be on the album though, but it teases the ears and makes them hungry for more.
The entire structure of the track sounds a little Latin influenced, not only because of the bongos and congas, that run through the whole track and are well set into scene. The synths spread a little beach feeling and you can see that both artists have a little southern blood in their veins or were at least influenced by various sunny countries. Strong percussion underscore the continuing drive of the track up to a maximum of party atmosphere. Danilo Vigorito, who already presented his skills on labels such as ?Orion Muzik? or ?Primate Recordings?, mashes up the original mix properly. With an intriguing tension this remix also provides lots of hands-in-the-air moments and smiling faces on the dancefloor.
When two young, yet still experienced artists come together in the studio to produce a summer-grade tech-house track, only good things are set to come out. ?Coconut Head? is a proof and will bring the feet of the listener to twitch - even after listening.
