Bambada

  • Artists Live City
  • Release Date 2013-12-07
  • Labels Liftoff Recordings
  • Catalog LFT004
  • Description Live City leaves no prisoners on their brand new EP for Liftoff Recordings."Bambada" features two devastating cuts that will leave listeners traumatized. The A-side is a swinging electro offering with a massive drop that gives way to a flurry of apocalyptic stabs and arpeggios. On the flip side, "Chakra" is a straight ahead electro barn-stormer featuring the clever use of some melodic marimbas and string arrangements. The symphonic breakdown surrenders itself to an epic drop and pulsating bassline that will make thiscut a difficult one to forget.

Live City is perhaps best known for creating stellar, chart topping dance mixes to pop and indie songs by artists ranging from Capital Cities and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Martin Solveig and Robert Delong. Their most recent original production, "Justified" was released on Tommie Sunshine's Brooklyn Fire imprint to much fanfare. Their music has been supported by some of the biggest names in EDM including Afrojack, Bingo Players, Felix Cartal and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The Capital Cities "Safe & Sound" Remix was voted by Las Vegas Weekly as one of the Top 15 Songs that ruled the dancefloor in Vegas this past summer.

New York City based production/DJ duo, the Disco Fries, present "Bambada" as the fourth release on their Liftoff Recordings imprint.
