  • Description Hot off the trails of Future Funk Squads Disorders and Reorders of skill packages en:vision gets
back on track with its single releases.
First up is a killer debut release from Liz Melody under her newly formed alias Breaks Will Eat Itself (BWEI)
About this project Liz tells us: I really wanted to toughen up my sound which wasnt going to work with
the Liz Melody moniker. BWEI is rather tongue in cheek and emerged in reference to the long standing,
    relentless breakbeat is dead debates
For this I have channeled the late spirit of and paid homage to one of my all time favorite
groups Pop Will Eat Itself. The title and lyrics are self-explanatory! I wonder sometimes that there
might be some misconception I am only a vocalist but I actually produce my own tracks, create the sounds,
ideas, melodies and lyrics . Admittedly though mixing is not my strong point and I am fortunate enough to
get help with that which isnt unusual in the dance scene
Lizs vocal work can be heard on tracks from Splitloop, Slyde, Curtis B, C83, Baymont Bross, James Talk
and High Eight and on solo releases Forget U and Skeptical for top
breaks labels Re:Connect and Sound of Habib. Now for Breaks Will Eat Itself its the tougher sound
of en:vision that fits the VISION!
And just when you thought things couldnt get any darker the legendary northern UK breakbeat duo
Backdraft provide us with a twisted monster of a remix that walks the fine line between
    dubstep and breakbeat!.
