  • Description The second single taken from the Jack Codec album 'Explicit'. The original comes in a remastered club-version and a radio-edit. Including remixes from the Snuff Crew, Ziel 100, Dr. Shingo and Charlee.

    Some press-reactions on EXPLICIT:

It is the solo-debut of the cologne habitant by choice, who was mainly noticed as one half of Codec & Flexor till now. Explicit is a true and open techno-statement, with as straight YES to raveculture and modern clubmusic. Jack Codec, who likes to fathom musical borders, is ranging from soundstructures to emotions in his music, wants to tell little stories with his tracks. About Jack the raver, the zombies from From dusk till down or the partyweekend. He is varying his sound, without losing himself in platitudes and created a fine lucent album. (5 of 6)

The presingle Defibrillator has made the hearts beating faster and further of every energy addicted dancefloor-monster in the last couple of months. As the single was attended by two remixes, now with 9 more tracks there are coming along the dancecharts -TopTen of the of the next month, of course with Defibrillator on the pole-position. Ashes and Dust breathes down on the neck of this smasher. With catchy vocals the track wouldnt be the worst choice as the next single. The mentioned before dancefloor-monsters are getting their moneys worth with the third song. The track is even named like them. The beginning sounds like a truck that is blowing the horn on its way through the club, followed by seven other glorious tracks. fhp (CD/MP3-album)

Kick in the eye... no I am not talking about classic Bauhaus songs, I am talking about the long awaited solo album done by Jack Codec the half of the duo Codec&Flexor.
What you see is what you get this seems the best description of this rough and straightforward album. A kind of mirror-ball fists seems to punch your face, thats what you see first holding this album the first time in your hands. And this artwork is well selected!
Jack Codec is a rough gentleman, his music punches in your face but he will always asks you if he is allowed too. He merges wonderful melodies, sweat driving beats with rough sounds. This album is wild and absolutely made to fill the dancefloors all over the world, but Jack didnt take the easiest route by creating just a brachial dance album. He did something very special by creating these outstanding ten tracks; he combined the beauty and the beast, power and brain. Absolute brilliant!
The titles of the tracks speak a clear language, so it seems, but even a Monster needs love. So Jack filled each track with life and love, his music screams and rampage, but the melodies and little hidden sound treasures in each track show you that he isnt such brutal as it seems at first sight. This is intelligent rave music music that owns handwriting. You will recognize each track of this brilliant album among a thousand others. This is music for the perfect peak-hour; this is music that will make wall come tumbling down and its still music with intelligence. What else do you need for a perfect summer!
